I have recently completed my Masters in Computer Science from Northeastern University. I am interested in the full time position. I am certain that having working experience in financial technology industry and strong background in Java, C# and .NET will make me a strong candidate.
I have worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Goldman Sachs and Investment Technology Group for an academic year. During my internship, I attained working experience in developing financial applications in Java and C# using Agile technologies. All the applications were developed using test driven approach and object oriented programming concepts to achieve high quality code on schedule time. These applications’s code was developed with more than 90% of code coverage of unit testing. Along with development, I have also participated in all the phases of the development life cycle including analyzing, designing and testing. My manager appreciated me as a great team player.
In addition, my college projects have equipped me with skills and understanding of programming, networking, web and database concepts. I have development experience with C++, C# and .NET through my work experience and various college projects. I have strong concepts in web development and networks through my course work during my undergrad and grad school.
