Jammond A. Hayes-Ruffin
Nashville. Need to relocate May 3rd 2010

Jammond A. Hayes-Ruffin is a student and aspiring technologist attending Fisk University. Since 2005, he has been highly engaged with the online community and the startup space in particular. Upon entering college his passion for internet culture grew tenfold as he launched an 'Open-Source Email Distribution Zine,' focused on urban counter-culture. The ‘zine’ attracted 250 subscribers over 3 issues with no marketing budget or funds to speak of. Since then, he has worked for a Silicon Valley Events Planning Firm, a High End Web Development Firm and a World Class (Nashville Based) SEO Firm. Currently, he acts as an Entrepreneurial Assistant (and sole employee) at Remarkable Wit. Remarkable Wit is a business technology strategy firm that took root in late 2007 as an incubator for innovative Web-based ideas and a lab for the exploration of technologies poised to create new value in enterprise. In that capacity he was one of the principal instigators of the Enterprise LAMP & Big LAMP Camp conferences which brought more than 800 on the ground IT professionals to Nashville, TN. The conference & camp were founded to showcase the LAMP stack’s: maturity, velocity, security and scalability when used in enterprise level applications.
