Hello,

I am a recent Industrial Design graduate from the Columbus College of Art and Design, one of the oldest art schools in the United States. The foundation of its curriculum is regarded as one of the best in the nation; my education was rooted securely in mastery of hands-on design skills such as hand sketching and model making. My natural proficiency with these traditional design methods was honed while at CCAD; and I continued to develop other skills required to succeed within the professional Industrial Design arena: creativity, team-work, persistence and diligence. To be perfectly honest Consumer Electronics is my favorite field of design. My idea of a great time would be going to Best Buy and just examine the design of every single cell phone, mp3 player, digital camera, laptop, I can get m y hands on. It it definitely a field that I would be thrilled to get into, but by all means I get excited about designing just about anything.

I am hungry to begin my career in Industrial Design, regardless of the current economic climate and job-market reports. I possess not only the quantitative skills required of this position, but also the qualitative skills that come from having an innate design sensibility.
