As for my brief background, I obtained my Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering from Purdue University and MBA in Global Management from Babson College. Recently, I was working as a Principal Product Manager for EMC’s flagship Symmetrix storage business collaborating on the development and execution of Storage Virtualization and Disaster Recovery product strategy, roadmap planning and go-to-market strategies. I was responsible for competitive assessment and product positioning, exploring the voice of the customer, executive level product development proposals, customer briefings, use case development and strategic integration of geographic clustered storage virtualization offering with rest of the EMC portfolio to better serve the global customer base.
I have worked on all stages of storage product lifecycle management, managed a product line from cradle to grave, justifying new product development investments, determining and documenting new product requirements, developing sales tools, forecasts and product pricing, identifying channel partners and ensuring the right blend of trade-offs to maximize product impact in the marketplace. Additionally, I am Six Sigma GB certified and have extensive project management and system engineering experience in the enterprise storage and services markets.
With my strong business and technical background, ability to balance near-term priorities with next generation investments, spotting unmet customer needs, building strong business cases, and effectively bridging market gaps with customer-driven, revolutionary storage hardware and software virtualization solutions and managed IT services, I feel I will be a strong contributor to your organization.
