Background:
Peter Stromquist has spent the past twenty years, initiating, participating, or collaborating in start-up ventures, turnarounds, and overseeing acquired and divested companies. His experience encompasses over two-dozen ventures, either as principal, consultant, contractor, or employee.

Ventures have included new media (internet, technology and software), traditional media properties (radio, newspapers, magazines, outdoor), advertising agencies, broadcast program syndication companies, a specialized boutique investment bank, wholesale and retail outlets, manufacturers and distributors, acquisitions, joint ventures, partnerships, and collaborations.

His experiences have been global in scope. He has had the opportunity to conduct the above businesses across the UK, Western and Eastern Europe, the former Soviet Union, the Middle East, North and South Africa, Mainland China and Hong Kong, across Southeast Asia, Japan, Australia, as well as, of course, North America. He has resided in principal cities in North America, as well as London, Paris, Hong Kong, Guangzhou, and Beijing.

Mergers and acquisitions experience include over one thousand potential acquisitions analyzed, and initiation or participation in over one hundred closed transactions worldwide. Industries covered include traditional and new media, music publishing, radio and television program syndication companies, film and entertainment ancillary service industries, technology, hardware, software, retail, and food manufacturing and distribution companies.

Mr. Stromquist has raised funds for projects and new businesses, as principal, intermediary or employee, from sources including private investors, venture capitalists, strategic partners, traditional and investment banks. He has worked with and for, both privately held and publicly held companies.

At the Senior Management level, he has had P/L responsibility for as many as four hundred employees, and territories spanning two and one-half continents. He has previously been employed on a full-time basis by some of the world’s largest media and information service companies.
