ZooQ is seeking a talented Java engineer with the ability to build out the ZooQ web application.

Responsibilities:

* Interpret marketing and engineering requirements to deliver functional solutions.
* Collaborate with the engineering team to solve problems and discover new opportunities.
* Work closely with other marketing and other engineers to deliver a superior user experience.
* Manage time effectively with minimal supervision to accurately scope projects and ensure that projects release on-time.

Requirements:

* BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
* 4+ years of experience in web application development.
* Experience developing web applications with J2EE, Javascript, and Ajax.
* In-depth experience developing numerous web-based applications.
* Strong experience with object oriented design and and design patterns.
* Strong creativity and problem solving skills, adaptable, proactive and willing to take ownership.
* Strong commitment to quality and usability.
* Previous early stage startup experience highly desired.
