Hi, we’re Wakoopa. We’re a Dutch company focused on software discovery. People visit our site to keep track of what they use on their desktop and keep up to date on what their friends are using when it comes to applications or games. While doing this we’ve become a great portal for discovering software and are already tracking about 250 millions hours of software usage. With those numbers you can imagine we’re looking for more people to come on board and make sense of it all. Yep, that’s where you get to save the day!

* You’re a bit of a perfectionist
* You’ve got a crush on Photoshop, XHTML, CSS or other design standards… and you think it’s mutual

Our selling points:

* We’ll teach you how to create a startup. That means you get a chance to be at meetings with investors, press, partners, and everybody else we stumble across. We want you to learn as much as we do, but only if you feel like it.
* We’ll take you around the world. Since our audience is based in the US, Europe and Asia it’s likely you’ll be on a plane a few times a year. For a conference you’re speaking at or just to meet with other people in the startup world. Whatever the team feels like.
* There’s no "work time". You decide when you work. In weekends or from 10am to 6pm, just get the job done. But if you’re gonna abuse that, then this is not the job for you.
* Exactly the same salary as the CEO’s (the guys typing this right now). There’s no real difference in our company between team members except for tasks.
* A lot of freedom. We’d like you to think about our product and come up with features or area’s we should do. If everybody likes it, you get to build it. Even if it’s an open-source project made from Wakoopa-code.

Interns or less-experienced folks are also always welcome if you’ve got the ambitious attitude to match. We’ll provide you with a fun working environment at our office in the centre of Amsterdam, cliche big-ass secondary screen and ping-pong table included.
