We are a seed-stage data start-up in a Silicon Valley incubator seeking an ambitious coder/hacker to join our very small team and lead the back-end development of our behavioral measurement technology. This is an opportunity to dramatically shape the product and company at the founding level.
Aside from stellar engineering capabilities, the right candidate will contribute ideas and leadership in a fast-paced -- but collaborative and supportive -- environment. As a co-founder/CTO, initial compensation will be in equity and pizza. However -- say, if you prefer salad -- compensation and hours are highly negotiable.
A computer science degree (we are Stanford alums), experience in data mining/analytics, experience building web apps and widgets, and deep understanding of cookie behavior are preferred but not required. Of primary importance are the desire to work at a startup (personable and energetic), passion for the data mining/analytics space and love of solving complex code and algorithmic puzzles.
