
We are looking for full time and part-time engineers. However, part time engineers must be especially qualified; we love to hire brilliant engineers with degrees from top universities and companies such as Google and Yahoo). Qualified candidates will possess good time management skills. Individuals must be able to commit at least 20 hours a week for part time. Scheduling is flexible, however at least 2 days must be on site at Stanford. We are currently in the process of getting funding, so we are able to offer equity right now and then market rate salary once we are funded.
The ideal person has some familiarity with one of the following: PHP, Mysql, CSS, or AJAX. You would be expected to help plan, research, develop logic, code, document, test, and deploy several Web projects with minimal assistance. You should know how to build a professional and technically challenging website, as well as modify and build on existing code.
About our company: Project Athena is a stealth stage start-up located in Stanford, CA. So far, we have 4 grad student/undergrad engineers from Stanford, a MBA from Wharton, several interns from other top schools, a professional graphic designer, a potential deal with a professional a software development firm worth $50,000 to $200,000, a couple of professional engineers, a working prototype, and meetings scheduled with more investors who like the idea in the near future.
