UI Engineer

We are looking for an expert Front-end engineer to join the User Interface team. You will have the opportunity to work with the best of the best technologists, and the possibility of learning great things while building cool apps. If you think this is for you, read on.
You must have 2+ years of experience in working on web-based JavaScript rich applications. You must be very fluent in HTML, CSS, JS (with Ajax) have a deep knowledge of the DOM and be willing to learn new skills as required. You should also have a strong CS foundation in algorithms and data structures.
The position is based in either the Bay Area of San Francisco or New York City and will initially report to the VP of Engineering.
Essential Job Duties
Design, implementation and maintenance (as part of a team) of
Elegant, Efficient and Effective Web applications
JavaScript components to support back-end components on occasion
Interfacing with other teams to incorporate their innovations and vice versa
Debugging in a team environment
Brainstorming algorithms and spotting inefficiencies
Required Skills, Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent experience preferred
2+ years experience as a front-end programmer in a team environment
Some familiarity with PHP desirable
Basic familiarity with Linux/Apache
Working knowledge of MySql
Sound knowledge of Algorithms, Data Structures and Complexity analysis
