Early stage solar related technology company based in San Jose is looking for someone to round out our team of professionals. We have all worked in Silicon Valley for years and have successfully run other businesses. Now we have launched a new company focused on energy storage for solar, wind and other renewable sources.

We have the technology, financial and operational background covered, now we need someone to drive the marketing and sales side of the business for us.

Our perfect candidate will have a depth of experience in running a marketing and sales organization, have developed marketing plans, and have a track record of launching new products. Knowledge of the solar, battery and renewable energy industries is also a key for success. Selling experience to builders and/or solar installers is highly desired, as is an understanding of government contracts and negotiations.

We are currently self funded, so we are looking for someone with financial flexibility until we raise our first round of funding (which is targeted for later this year). The ideal candidate has an entrepreneurial drive with a desire to build a business he or she has an ownership stake in. We are confident of the success of the product and plan to ramp revenue in 2009.
