Sr. Oracle/Java engineer

This is a full time employee position which includes competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities:

• Architect, develop, enhance and utilize the integration tools which synchronize customer and internal reference data with the hosted application.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts for common operational tasks
• Architect, design, and implement tools for internal users service to create, view and update transactional data
• Architect, design, and implement software for the main software-as-a-service web product
• Suggest ways that our small but vibrant company can do more with less and improve customer experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidates should have experience in the following:
- 7+ years of development experience, at least 2 years with Java
- 3+ years developing Oracle, PL/SQL.
- 1+ years with Perl, shell scripts
- 2+ years on Linux or Unix
- Good understanding of ant, Tomcat, Apache, XML
- Experience with Sync Sort or other ETL tools highly desirable
- Must be organized, detail oriented and able to work independently
- Must be proficient with Windows
- Experience with MySql a plus
- Knowledge of open source solutions a plus.
- Must be a dependable team player who likes to get stuff done and learn new technologies
- Sense of humor is essential
