Qualifications:

- Experienced with Ruby in general and especially Ruby on Rails applications.
- Strong believer in unit and functional testing, good documentation, working closely with other developers.
- Experience working on Rails applications which offload many tasks to background processes for performance reasons.
- Comfortable working with Linux/UNIX: writing shell scripts, server administration
- Understands how to build efficient, scalable web applications.
- Really good with (unobtrusive) Javascript, AJAX, DHTML and CSS. You know JQuery, JSON, Prototype
- Experienced working with SQL databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL. You understand database principles such as normalization, joining and indices.
