RGlobe is a unique company focused on perfecting the process of strategic partnering using software-as-a-service and social networking. We are currently in “stealth” mode with launch, customer acquisition, and funding happening in the very near future. The first version of our product is nearly built. However, we have a very urgent need on our team of founders for a Java application development expert.

We need you to:

* Build new cutting edge product features
* Improve the product UI with new technologies and techniques
* Give strategic technical input for our product roadmap and development strategy
* Manage the offshore development team
* Work with the development team to create a solid development, testing, and deployment process.

This is a part-time co-founder position. You will be working the same hours we work; nights and weekends, approx. 20 hrs. a week. In return, you will earn significant equity in the company and be known as one of our 'co-founders'. We will all work together to make the company successful and all share in the rewards when we succeed.

We have a combined 20+ years experience in software and strategic partnerships. We have been working for 2 years perfecting this product offering for its target market. This is your opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a start up already positioned for success!

Must Have Skills:
Java, JavaScript, JSP, CSS, Ajax
J2EE, Struts Framework, SOAP

5+ Years of Java experience.
Demonstrated ownership and leadership for projects and assignments.
Demonstrated passion for creating an outstanding user experience.
Demonstrated experience working with offshore development teams.
Experience demonstrating and implementing best practices with attention to detail.
Ability to work on your own, with a history of good technical choices and decision making.

Good Working Knowledge of:
Fedora Core Linux
Apache Tomcat Application Server
PostgreSQL Database, Hibernate ORM
OpenLDAP
