Responsibilities:
• Develop device drivers and hardware interfaces for various embedded systems components for handheld mobile device.
• Work with the Hardware Engineering and Marketing teams to create optimal solutions for deployment of emerging pen capabilities
• Work cross-functionally with SQA, Hardware, and Manufacturing Teams to deliver best of breed mobile device.
Qualifications:
• Bachelors Degree in EE, CS, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years hands-on experience developing firmware for embedded applications on handheld mobile device such as: device drivers, HAL, Audio, USB, Wifi, Bluetooth, Display and NAND
• Experience developing firmware and software that is close to the hardware, such as BSPs, device drivers, boot code, DFU and embedded applications
• In-depth knowledge of C and experience with assembly language and ARM9 programming
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Nice to have, but not required:
• Experience with Atmel AVR programming
• Familiarity with digital and analog board design, reading schematics
• Experience with DMA and flash filesystem;
This can be a contract or regular full-time position. We are looking for both.
We do consider telecommuting 1-2 days a week and considering someone who is looking for a remote position.
