QA / Test Engineer for E la Carte – an exciting, established restaurant technology startup in Palo Alto, CA!

As our first dedicated QA hire, you will be building our QA Department from the ground up and expanding it as we grow!

Job Responsibilities:
• Lead the software quality assurance effort for our end-user application.
• Write & execute test plans for periodic software releases & new deployments.
• Maintain and expand our in-lab Point-Of-Sale test facilities.
• Participate in other tasks as needed, such as converting electronic menu data from one format to another.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's or Master's in a scientific subject.
• Entrepreneurial self-starter attitude.
• QA methodology: unit, integration, regression, user interface automated testing.
• Ability to develop automated custom QA solutions.
• Experience with scripting and Unix commands.
• Experience with Windows, Linux and virtual machines administration.
• Experience with Point-of Sale systems a huge plus.
