The Company:
Direct Commerce (DCI) is Software-as-a-Service business that develops and hosts Procure-to-Pay automation solutions to Fortune 500 companies. Our products include electronic invoicing, remittance and payment, imaging, discount management, dispute resolution, and workflow over a secured web-hosted Supplier Portal. Founded in 2000 and a leader in the accounts payable automation and procure-to-pay solutions, Direct Commerce supports tens of thousands of suppliers submitting hundreds of thousands of electronic invoices adding up to billions of dollars per year in transaction volume. Direct Commerce's mission is to transform the delivery and management of business-to-business financial transactions from paper-based processes to a fully electronic interchange.

The Role:
We're looking for someone to work with internal staff and our Global 2000 customers to design, develop and maintain our full suite of internet-based procure-to-pay applications. You will be responsible for a variety of software engineering tasks, including core software development, bug fixing, trading partner setup and testing, automated test creation and production data maintenance. Sorry, but visa transfer/sponsorship is not available at this time.

The search for this position went so well a couple of months ago that we hired 2 Engineers, and now we're looking to do it again!

Core Technologies:
* Programming environment: Java, XSL, EJB
* Application server: Weblogic / JBoss
* Database: Oracle, Postgresql
* Build tools: ant, cvs
* OS: Solaris, Linux

The Right Person:
* 5+ years professional software engineering experience.
* Expert technical skills in Java / application server / web areas.
* High level of creativity and a "roll-up your sleeves" working style.
* Familiarity with software development processes and technical issues surrounding internet-based applications.
* Bonus points for accounts payable / accounts receivable / financial experience.
* Minimum Bachelor's degree.
