The Director of eCommerce will be responsible for spearheading and implementing the strategy of Amour Vert’s Webshop. This vital role for the organization will include, choosing the merchandise, messaging and layout of the website. The Director of eCommerce will develop online promotions and events specific to webshop customers. Additionally, this role will be focused on driving new traffic to the site, converting visitors into paying customers, and then maximizing the lifetime value of these customers. S/He will be responsible for SEO, SEM as well as testing additional online marketing channels.

The Director of eCommerce Marketing will report to the CEO and work with the Sales, Design, and Fulfillment teams.

Responsibilities
• Webshop Merchandising: Decide what inventory is best suited to drive high ROI for the webshop . Coordinate closely with the Design and Shipping teams to determine inventory levels and plan for new merchandise available for the season.
• Webshop Design and Layout: Think strategically about the design of the website to create serendipity with a user-friendly experience and logical flow. Develop compelling graphics, messaging, promotions and events to draw in visitors and encourage conversion. Test and monitor performance of different messaging and website layout designs.
• Internet Marketing: Develop the strategy and implementation of Search Engine Optimization and Search Engine Marketing campaigns. Test new marketing channels and ad formats to determine what drives the highest ROI. Determine monthly goals, develop a marketing budget and monitor ongoing performance. Continually test and iterate, and deliver analysis of results and ROI to team.
• Analysis and Reporting: Keep Marketing Dashboard reports up-to-date for reporting results of various marketing campaigns as well as overall webshop performance. From data, develop insights and strategies for future testing and improvement.
• Build a winning team!

Experience
• College Degree and relevant experience, MBA a plus
• 5+ Years of Online Marketing Experience – Significant experience managing a company’s Search Engine Optimization, Search Engine Marketing and Facebook advertising campaigns and track record of helping a company significantly improve ROI through these marketing techniques.
• Online Merchandising – Experience developing the merchandise strategy for a leading eCommerce site. Testing the layout, design, and messaging of the site to optimize user experience and conversion.
• Analytics – Knowledge of Google Analytics and significant experience evaluating online marketing campaigns and website performance to make insightful decisions to improve ROI. Daily, weekly, and monthly reporting of webshop and marketing campaigns to executive team.
