Position: Ruby on Rails Software Engineer
As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining web-based tools and widgets that will be shared across the publisher network. You will work with the product management and engineering teams to create highly-configurable, skinnable products that can easily be deployed on multiple external web sites. We use agile development methodologies and short build cycles.

Qualifications:

BS or Advanced Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
3+ years experience in web application software development
Experience with Ruby on Rails and MySQL is required
Additional experience in multiple object-oriented web application frameworks
Extensive experience with Javascript libraries and CSS is a plus
Experience with Flash and Flex is a plus
Experience with social networking tools and widgets is a plus
Experience with content management tools is a plus
Familiarity with linux environments
Strong teamwork and communication skills
The ability to work independently, multi-task, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
Enjoy working in start-up environment
