Our service helps consumers find compelling products based on information shared by friends. Imagine a day when you could do a Google search on “digital cameras” and get back a list of the cameras your friends have purchased in the last five years.  That’s the problem we are solving!  Our business model is to utilize social content around products to drive sales for online retailers and receive a commission on the sales generated.  We already have a number of marquee customers and have recently raised VC funding from a great group of investors.

We are seeking an experienced web developer with expertise in cross-browser UI layer coding (HTML, CSS, Javascript), and cross-domain communication channels.  You must be an AJAX ninja! As the lead front-end web developer, you will be involved in all aspects of product development.

Job Qualifications:

•  Minimum 3 years of full-time web development experience

•  Expertise solving cross-browser CSS/HTML/Javascript issues

•  Proficient with jQuery, Prototype, and MooTools

•  Expertise with cross-domain communication channels.

•  Experience with back-end integration with at least some of the following: Python, Java, PHP, MySQL

•  Ability to independently develop and test software functionality based on design/product requirements

•  Passion for coding using the latest technologies

•  Strong proponent of agile development

•  Ability to thrive in a start-up environment

It's even better if you: 

•  Have an eye for usability, style and design

•  Have experience developing Facebook applications

•  Have experience with Python/Django

•  Have experience with developing consumer-facing websites
