Sam Ho

Sam Ho combines over 15 years of engineering and 10 years of sales, biz dev and marketing experience from the industry.

Currently, he sits on the Advisory Board of a number of early stage startups including Findlikes (essentially, Social TV & Video) and Proxpur Labs (building ShopClique, a new experience for retail shopping).

At Google, he led the Android and Mobile Sales Engineering team at Google as part of the Global Strategic Partnerships team. He has been part of the team that has signed partnerships with leading OEMs and Mobile Operators throughout the world including: Vodafone Global, T-Mobile, Sprint, Verizon, Nokia, Motorola, HTC, Samsung, Docomo, KDDI, Softbank Mobile and Sony Ericsson (to name a few) and helped grow Google's Mobile business from nothing $0 to $1B in annualized revenues.

At Intel, in addition to various roles in chipset design and architecture, he spent much of his career as the Technical Marketing Engineer for Intel's Wireless Networking Group. This included being an integral part of the launch of Intel's "Rosedale" chip, the first WiMAX chip in the industry. In addition, Sam was part of the Intel's Centrino Mobile Technology campaign, evangelizing Wi-Fi at industry events around the world (which is now universally embedded in laptops).

Prior to his work in the industry, Sam worked for a number of non-profits focused on education and research. In his spare time, he is also currently the Director of Marketing for Project by Project, a non-profit focused on education.

As an entrepreneur, Sam's future interests include technology ventures in the social networking and mobile space with a strong focus on big data (recommendation engines, machine learning, real-time bid optimization).
