Krystel Ariel,
possessing a
Masters in French Literature was never destined to penetrate the
technology world. Alas, one summer's eve at
a wine tasting in Santa Cruz, she discovered a startup promising to
change
the landscape of online user experience.
Intrigued or perhaps too
inebriated
by the Pinot, this delightful lass joined Baynote's ranks as a Market
Development Representative. Immediately upon arrival, she felt at home
amongst her officemates, a burgeoning team of bright eyed and bushy
folks
trying to impact the world with their incredibly intelligent
Recommendations
and Search technology.
This little nerd took to tech life like a duck to
water
and was quick to understand as well as properly communicate Baynote's
complex technology offering in a variety of situations (parties,
meetings,
alien abductions, etc.).
She
also managed to eat an entire 6 pound bag
of
pretzels within her first two days of employment. For this feat alone,
I
would like to nominate Krystel Ariel for Startuper of the Month. Anyone
who
can eat a whole 6 pound bag of pretzels within two days and abandon the
literary world with such aplomb is clearly worthy of this dubious honor.
